A traditional, old “archoutika”, originally built for one
of the rich and important people of Skopelos and directly opposite the
house of Dationte, who lived here from 1740 – 1784.
The property is built on four floors and has two large, covered balconies
and, internally, wooden floors and ceilings with many original features,
including an icon cupboard in the hallway. The basement area, reached
from the entrance way, is currently used for storage and has a water supply
and traditional marble sink.

The entrance on the ground floor has steps leading up to the spacious
kitchen, with a separate dining room and small, modern bathroom. Steps
lead from this floor to the hallway of the first floor which, in turn,
leads to a separate entrance to the house from the street above.
On this floor there is an extremely large double bedroom, together with
a smaller bedroom or study. The second floor has a large living room with
balcony, giving views over the rooftops to the harbour. There is a further
double bedroom with fitted cupboards and a separate wc with washbasin.
A small hall leads to a second balcony off this level.
A very spacious and airy house in a quiet, residential area of the town
and close to all amenities.
